National Art Honor Society
The Art Honor Society is a nationally-known organization sponsored by the National Art Education Association. Student members of the society promote awareness of art by becoming active participants in the education process in their school and community. To become a member, you must be enrolled in an art class during the school year, maintain a 3.0 in all art classes and a 2.5 cumulative GPA in all other subjects. There are fees associated with this organization that are set at the national level each year, which we use for purchasing supplies. As a group, we also take field trips to various institutes, such as the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the Scholastic Art & Writing Center.
